Nacha recently released its Top 50 ACH Originating and Receiving Financial Institutions for 2025, highlighting continued growth across the ACH Network.

The Top 50 originating financial institutions processed 30.7 billion ACH payments in 2025, a 4.7% increase over 2024, accounting for 91.4% of total commercial ACH payment volume.

On the receiving side, the Top 50 financial institutions handled 23 billion ACH payments, representing a 6.4% increase year over year and 65.1% of total ACH Network volume, including payments received from the federal government.

Overall, ACH payment volume exceeded 42 billion transactions in 2025, underscoring the continued growth and importance of electronic payments across the financial ecosystem.
