Alliance Buzz Summary - Week of 6/15/26
Nacha recently shared several updates that may be of interest to members. In recognition of World Elder Abuse Awareness Day on June 15, the Alliance is encouraging financial institutions and payments professionals to raise awareness of elder financial exploitation and make use of updated resources, including an infographic and a financial institution checklist to support training and outreach efforts.

Also highlighted in the latest update is a new public blog, Tokenized Deposits: What They Are and Why U.S. Financial Institutions Should Care, offering insight into an emerging topic that may shape the future of banking and payments.
Nacha is also seeking industry feedback on the meaning of “Banking Day” in the Nacha Operating Rules, along with comments on an ACH returns-related Rules proposal and related operational questions. Responses to both requests are due by June 26, 2026.
