Payments Innovation Alliance Shares Member Updates and Upcoming Opportunities
The Payments Innovation Alliance recently shared the following member update:
It’s only April but already an amazing year. In the first quarter the Alliance has added 20 new members. If you haven’t seen the announcements here’s a link to the press release. We are so excited to welcome all of these organizations to our community and bring their expertise and commitment into our family. Whether or not you are new to the Payments Innovation Alliance we invite you to request a call with staff to review your member benefits and how to get engaged. Alliance International Meeting – June 1-2
Our next in-person Alliance meeting is right around the corner. We’ve got a jam-packed agenda, full of timely topics and networking opportunities, that you will want to be part of. Topic highlights include: PSD3/PSR; Tackling APP Fraud; ISO20022; EU AI Act; Global Pay by Bank; Fraud Information Sharing; Open Banking and more. Our meeting space is limited so for Participating Members planning on attending you will want to register ASAP. Our initial hotel room block has sold out however the hotel has added a few rooms at a discounted rate, but these are only offered as first come first served. This is definitely an event you will want to attend!
World Quantum Day
Did you know that April 14th is World Quantum Day? Well our Quantum Payments Project Team do! And members from that group have been creating a new educational blog series to help the payments ecosystem move from awareness to action. The series builds on the Alliance’s foundational paper, “Protecting Payments in the Quantum Era: Setting a Course for Action,” which outlines how quantum computing could impact today’s cryptographic protections and what payments stakeholders should begin doing now to prepare. Together, the paper and blogs provide a practical road map—translating emerging theory into clear, industry-relevant guidance for organizations at every stage of readiness. A press release will go out tomorrow and all the materials will be published on the Quantum Payments Project team page. Please share these materials and like, re-post on your social media. Let’s get the word out!
